Any Veterinarians out there???

Any Veterinarians out there???

I have 2 dogs. A few weeks ago there was an area on my carpet about 7'x7' that had blood in it. It was in a pattern too which was weird. It wasn't like a puddle of blood. It was more like a pattern of spots? Not tiny spray spots, but 1-2' spots. It's very hard to describe. Well, on Monday, one of them did the same thing in the hallway, only a much larger area? It's not poop, or throw-up. It really looks like something was bleeding, and they kept rubbing it into the carpet. I checked them both out, but can't seem to find anything? Can anyone help? I know one of them needs to go to the vet, but I can't afford to bring them both in, since we don't know which one is having the problem. They're acting perfectly fine otherwise. My almost 2 yr. old puppy is not neutered yet, but is scheduled to be neutered on the 14th. He has been trying to 'do the deed' with the female, but doesn't know how? Could this be why? Is he just really horny? I know it may sound stupid, but we have had a dog when I was little and that was the problem. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I'm not a vet, but my shih tzu started to bleed from her urethra (or wherever their pee comes from) and it turned out that she had a kidney disease that's very prevalent among small breeds. She died only a few days after being diagnosed. Maybe you can try to find a low cost vet and take them in?

Is the female fixed? Maybe she is in heat?

I was going to ask this too.

Take her for a walk and try to notice if there is blood in her urine. If there is, chances are, she has something wrong with her kidneys or her bladder. This happened to my bichon frise and it turned out she had stones that needed to be surgically removed. Also check her paw pads. Perhaps she stepped in something sharp outside? It's hard to figure out until you find out where it's coming from. Good luck.

Most Vets will let you make payments if you need to.

Could be a bladder/kidney infection? Could be kidney/bladder stones?
Could be something else as well.

Call a vet and see about bringing in a urine sample (pick up a kit from your vets office).

What about a credit card that you can pay off over time? There's some pet credit program that's similar, you pay off the bill over time. You can get that info from your vets office.
