Any Villa brides who did NOT meet their minimum?

We're going to get our letter in the next few weeks to make our party planning appointment, and I want to go in very realistically prepared.

Any Villa girls who did not meet their minimum, would you mind telling me what you could and could not negotiate? Please FM if you feel more comfortable. I know enough to know not to expect much if anything, but I'd like to hear from others who have been in the same situation.

Thanks, I wish I was only talking about 15 people short...we're looking to be 40-50 short! And even including vendors, that's only 6-7 more heads

With my last minute cancellations, I wish I had used vendors and kids towards my minimum.

Honestly, with 90 guests left to respond and 51 of them being OOT, and the ones in town are kinda iffy too...if we have 90 people, I'll be shocked and amazed. Maybe 100 if I invite my coworkers and they all come, and if FH invites 2 more couples he was thinking of.

Our minimum is 125

I made my minimum but remmeber how accomodating they were with giving me my money back from the last minute cancellations? Hopefullly they will help you out. Let me know what happens!

I'll definitely keep you posted. We really don't even want/need upgrades if that would even be an option...if we're seriously going to be paying for 50 'ghosts', I'd be happy if we could work out an arrangement for it to get donated to a homeless shelter or nursing home honestly. I'm trying to psych myself in to thinking we're just having our wedding at a really shi-shi 250+/pp type of place, because that's about what the price per head is going to be now if you amortize the 50 or so people short
