Anyone's reception @ the Watermill? If so, upstairs or downstairs. Did you find out if there is another wedding that day?
Myne is upstairs and I don't really want to know. My hair girl got married there in August and she had her reception downstairs. Another wedding was going on there. She said that she didn't see one guest from the other wedding the whole night.

I am not getting married there, but I do live around the corner and have been to a couple of weddings there. The way they set it up, you really don't know that there are two weddings going on, the bathrooms are seperate and everything. I wouldn't worry at all. BTW, do you live in the area? Cuz you should see the Christmas lights they have up, this is the best year yet. I live around the corner and I love when they do the lights, it looks awesome. Congrats and good luck!

That is so nice to hear that the lights look great. When FI and I went there 2 years ago to book it we loved how they had it set up for Christmas. I am not too worried about another wedding going, especially since each wedding has it's own facilities.

I am! I'm getting really excited. I was just there this weekend showing my parents who were in from Maine. WOW- i had forgotten how gorgeous that place is! I am also having mine upstairs. My reception doesn't start until 7:30pm...so I'm pretty sure the other party will be in full swing downstairs and we won't see each other.
I CAN'T WAIT!!! How about you?

We are in the downstairs room, the first time we looked at it, it was last winter and it looks so beautiful outside and inside with all the fireplaces going and the tree they put up. I keep hearing good things about the Watermill and I am glad I switched halls.
I think there is someone else getting married the same day as me but not sure what time, Our coctail starts at 6pm.

i'm getting married there in april 2004....in the upstairs room. not sure if anyone else is getting married there...but i just spoke to a friend who got married there in august and she went on and on about how amazing it was! i dont' think we have anything to worry about!!!

YAY!!! Tomorrow we are going to pick menu, cake, and linens.. then we are limo shopping.. and then we are going for a big dinner with lots of wine-It's all coming sooooo quickly! There is so much to choose from with the menu I can't wait

yes!! Astor Room...upstairs...And I don't know if you guys got the e-mail...they are having another show on Jan. 28th. I talked to Samantha tonight to reserve. At the last show I won two of the door prizes...by the way...if anyone is using Spritze and Peck (?) flowers I have a free arrangment coupon from them for you.

I'm getting married in the upstairs room in July. I've been to a wedding there when there was another wedding going on. You really don't notice it. Did any of you girls look at the invitation selection that they have? I was thinking of making an appointment. Also, did you use one of there cakes?

i got my invitations from them - i think you might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere...so take a look but make sure you look around also. and i'm also havig my ceremony there as well....outside if it's a nice spring day - inside if it's what i'm expecting the weather to be....cold!!!
