Any winter brides wearing a Poncho?

I went to BeBe yesterday & they had these beautiful mink-looking Ponchos, wrap or whatever they're called. They were awesome? I immediately thought of my wedding in November & thought that would be great since they are so in-style these days.
Has anyone seen them anywhere else?I havn't really been in the malls since I've been engaged.(Trying to save $$ for the wedding)

Do you think a shawl will make my hair static?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. My dress is strapless.

I personally don't like the look of putting something on over the dress.. but I would ask the people at your bridal salon what they suggest based on what you had in mind.. they could work with you and make something in a similar fabric, etc.

You want to make sure whatever you are putting on over your dress is formal enough-

I wore a fur capelet...got it off ebay for cheap. I would suggest looking there for something...
