Anybody doing anything exciting for the 4th?

I'm looking for ideas... we have no plans whatsover... my one friend wants to go to Brooklyn to watch fireworks, but I'd rather be away from the city.

we are going to teh beach ( BIL has a cabana) and we are just going to hang out there and watch any fireworks that we can see from there later on tonight.
I dont blame you for staying away from the city!

Going to my in-laws for a 4th of July/Family reunion..It's my sons 1st 4th of July too. He was 4 months old yesterday so everyone is excited to see him
