Re: Anybody Else not wearing a blusher?
I never had any desire to, but I dont know, we visited the Pastor Saturday, and when we were in the Sactuary talking about my Dad walking me down the isle, He said 'Now, this is when your Dad would lift your veil. . . ' Hmmm, that got me rethinking the whole thing.

Re: Anybody Else not wearing a blusher?
I meant to wear mine. But I totally forgot to put it over my face . No biggie, everyone just thought I meant to keep it back. It's really a decision that you can make or change at the last minute (if you remember)

Re: Anybody Else not wearing a blusher?
I am not wearing one. I have a veil for the back that I will wear in Church and take off after the first dance. I have hair jewelry, no head piece. Very simple.

I didn't wear one. I don't regret it either . . . My dad and I were both a mess walking down the aisle - I don't think he could have lifted it over my head!

Honestly I didn't think I would wear one until I tried it on. I really loved it.

Re: Anybody Else not wearing a blusher?
No blusher for me. Kinds of creeps me out actually..the whole idea of 'unveiling' the girl, etc...a little to traditional for my tastes. I will have a one-tiered veil placed at the back/top of my head. Very simple with a small headpiece.

I'm not wearing one. FI, for some reason really hates them. And I didn't really think I wanted to anyway.

I am not wearing a blusher, I don't like the way it looks on me.

Re: Anybody Else not wearing a blusher?
I am not wearing one for two reasons: my brother is giving me away and it would seem awkward, if not downright skeevy for him to lift my blusher; and FH isn't the most graceful guy on earth. I could see him pulling too hard and messing up my hair or something.

Re: Anybody Else not wearing a blusher?
I'm back and forth on it. I like how it's all very traditional and stuff but 1. The symbolism is pretty much moot since FH and I live together and we're taking pics BEFORE the ceremony 2. I REALLY don't like how it feels against my face 3. I'm afraid the static will wreck my do' 4. The fabric sticks to the sleeves on my dress which is pretty irritating.
On the other hand, I've always wanted one for the walk down the aisle and the thought of FH lifting it away from my face is very romantic to me. So romance or practicality? I'm not sure which will win out in the end. (After rereading this, leanind towards practical though)
