Anybody else ready to have a total meltdown?

Anybody else ready to have a total meltdown?

I have to say I now understand the whole bridezilla concept! I really get how a normally sweet person can go completely insane. Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boss knows I am getting married in five weeks, yet I have been straddled with a huge number of major projects all falling right before my wedding!!! I just got through a banquet which I organized and seven days of day camp over a one month period with 1,100 kids coming through the camp. During April/May I got an average of 4-6 hours sleep per night and spent the rest of the time working!!!!

Now after all of that you would think I would have a break, but NO! I moved in between all of that. My new house is a total disaster area with FH bringing all his 'junk' in without being dusted and just kind of putting in wherever. Meanwhile I am not available to supervise because I am working so much. I want to have a clean place and have time to decorate, but I just have not been around at all, which is soooo frustrating! To make matters worse, my shower is in two weeks and the inlaws expect to stay at our new place. There are boxes everywhere and you can't even walk.

My mom packed half of my stuff, which was great of her, but now I cannot find my important stuff like bills, birth control, important documents for the wedding and to get my marriage license, etc. I want to scream!!!

To top it off I sprained my ankle the last day of the camp, had to move the next day while I was on crutches, and then left that Monday for a week long training in Texas. When I finally got to leave to come home this past Friday, my flight was delayed three times. I ended up getting home at 2:30 in the morning and to top it all off, they lost my luggage and still have not found it!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no hairdryer, half my makeup is missing, all my new pants were in there, three pairs of shoes, etc. All gone!!

Then after that mess, my boss expected me to drive an hour to work at our camp this whole weekend. So, I ended up working at our camp until 1:00 in the morning Saturday night and Sunday until 1:00 p.m. When I got home I basically had a nervous breakdown and told FH I cannot take this anymore.

Also, this week we are getting our e-pics done with Thomas Paul, so I need to get ready for that and have no idea when I will have the time. We are also supposed to give our DJ all our music for the ceremony and get our marriage license.

To make matters worse, FH just accidentally hit me in the nose. I am sure that will look great in the e-pics!

Anyone else having major stress right now? I need a hug!!!

Aw thanks! I just need to vent. I know you all understand cause we are all in the same boat right now. It is so hard to plan a weddng and move while you are working 60 hours per week. I feel like it is just not fair, ya know? I put all this time and effort into having a beautiful day and I feel kind of like my job is ruining it for me. I am in charge of a major dinner the week of my wedding too!! It is just too much stress for one person to take. I keep telling myself, just get through it one week at a time. I know I am kind of driving my FH crazy right now due to my many meltdowns, but I really need a vacation. I wish so bad I could take a day off, but my schedule is impossible. I have not had a real vacation since my FH proposed to me almost two years ago.

Awe Debi!!!! Your mom told us you've been having a hard time- we're all hoping that things get better for you soon! I know that it's stressful now but everything will fall into place and you will get time to relax. Just tell FH he has to take care of you!
