Anybody have a FH or DH that travels often?

My guy travels at least once a week. He used to go to China once a month for 2 weeks at a time, but those trips aren't as frequent anymore, thankfully!

Just wondering who else is in the same boat!

my FH and I both have jobs that make us travel alot- we are rarely in the same city at once these days. I hate it sometimes, but it has definetly made us stronger in other ways. my cell phone bill is CRAZY

My FH just found out he is going to San Diego on business next week for two days. He doesn't travel too often but so far he has gotten to go to France, london, and Norway.

Not a traveling thing, but similiar... My DH and I work opposite hours (me regular 'teacher' hours, him 4pm - 12am, and sometimes 6pm - 6am), but I don't mind a bit. I get lots of 'me' time, and we eat breakfast together instead of dinner. In the summer it's great because we go to the beach a lot. People think I'm weird because I'm not miserable, but I really kind of like it.

My hubby is away right now

I can't take it when he is away. It's like every 3 mos or so. I really do not like the travelling and him being away from home. I have the option to go, but it would not be a vacation for us, b/c he would be working and I would be left by myself

all day and then at nights they have to wine and dine clients

so no way. I would also have to use my vacation time as well. So when we do go on a real vacation I would have less time to play with. I keep telling him do not get nominated for anymore committees b/c you cannot send someone from your staff, you will have to be there especially if you are one of the co-chairs.

My FH is in sales, so he travels about 50% of the time. If it's during the week, it's not too bad, since I'm working anyway, but what really takes a toll on us is the weekend and long-distance travel.

It's not uncommon for him to be in Singapore, Europe, or some other far-away place!
