I think I saw on Rich Bride, Poor Bride last week one of the wedding planners asking the couple how many people were on their guest list and then he gave a percentage of those people who you could count on coming...
For the life of me, I can't remember if the guy said 90% or 80%.
Anybody have an idea?
We're trying to keep things small, but I don't want to end up with a too-small venue.

I don't know about what was said on the show, but I know that other girls here have said about 20%is a good estimate for no's

2) We had a lot of OOT guests, and invited everyone with a guest. Many of those 'and guests' are not coming with a guest, so our No # is much higher than average because of it.
20% is a fair average, but NOT A RULE!
