StriVectin is VERY good for removing stretch marks, but it does not work over night. My cousin bought it for her daughter, and her marks are completely gone. Palmer's (they make cocoa butter products) has a maternity line to prevent stretch marks I bought for my best friend when she was pregnant and she swears by it. I buy it for all my expecting friends and family, and trust me theres plenty and they all seem to love it.

I agree with this. I'd say put on cocoabutter in the morning and vitamin E oil in the night. That's sure to do the trick. Also, drink lots of water and stay away from oily foods.

to prevent or get rid of exsisting?
Both! once your tummy starts getting big, you really need to start using the vitamin E oils and cocoabutter (try finding the cream the ladies are talking about that prevents it)...but never stop using it before and after. My best friend did this and she didn't get a single stretch mark!! Maybe it's just her body type, or maybe b/c she used this method, but it doesn't help to pass the knowledge on. she also made sure to stay away from fatty foods and junk food and drank lots and lots of water to keep her skin clear.

Treat existing. I know there's no cure-just looking for something that may help fade them.
