Anybody start decorating for X-mas yet?

I've got one tree up (only partially decorated). I'm trying to get a head start.

Not yet...I'm still loving all my autumn decor! I had a beautiful fall leaf thing made up for the mantle. As soon as thanksgiving is over, the Christmas decorations will start!

Re: Anybody start decorating for X-mas yet?

I have some decorations up so far, I could not help it. I love Christmas plus my birthdays on Christmas as well. We put up some of our lights outside on Sunday. We won't light them though till sometime next week. Inside I have some decorations up as well including our small tree in our bedroom. The first weekend in December we are going to New Hampshire to cut down our tree and will put it up as soon as we get back.

Can you post pics of your autumn decor in your house? I am trying to get ideas already for next year.

Re: Anybody start decorating for X-mas yet?

Sure:
Here's my fireplace (don't mind the fireplace, it's the original, and we need to get a new face for it)

I also grow orchids, and I use them to decorate my house...right now I am using a lot of browns and yellows/oranges in different rooms to bring that autumn feel.
Orchids are a great investment and if you look in any magazine, they're always in the backround.
I'll try to take pics of other things later.

These are just a few of my orchids.
