I'm confused about whether or not they are OK to eat. Thanks

Re: Anybody staying away from peanuts?
they are ok to eat as long as you are not allergic to them or was allergic as a child. From what Ive heard that if you were allergic you could pass that allergy down to your unborn child.( why you would eat peanuts if you were allergic though is beyond me )
I love peanuts and peanut butter, I could never give that up.

My doctor told me not to eat them because a new study showed that a woman who eats them is more likely to have a baby who is allergic to them. She wasn't strict about it but mentioned it to me because it is something that the FDA is advising pregnant woman.

Re: Anybody staying away from peanuts?
I had a nut allergy my Mom never ate nuts and didn't breast feed. I have been told I no longer have it but I won't touch nuts Dh is finally starting to eat them again in the house.. etc.
My little brother in law has an allergy to cashews, my MIL occasionally ate nuts and breastfed while pregnant.
Having a nut allergy sucks, I nearly died when I was 21 because nuts got into my smoothie from smoothie king in Penn.
I was always told you stay away from them during certain trimesters I forget when because I knew I would be staying away anyway.
