Re: Anybody try airbrush tanning?
are you planning on doing the mystique tanning? yeah from what i know it is not cheap, thats if you do the mystique one where they put it on you...you can also do the one to go into the booth for like 30 seconds and it sprays your whole body that one is less expensive than the other one

I did the booth one at Hollywood tan, I remember it wasn't expensive..You can also buy the can from them and have someone spray your shoulders and back...

Cactus Salon is Syosset does it, but it is a person spraying you, not a booth. It costs $55, but it lasts for a week. Well it did on me, I'm very pale though.

I did both the airbrush and spray in the booth. Airbrushing is much nicer and they can customize the color. It's more even too.
It was a bit more expensive thant the spray booth but lasted longer and was much nicer and even in color.

I've done it. I wouldn't recommend it for a bride - too risky. It looks best the the day after, but the chances of the color getting on your white dress is very high. And if if you do it too far in advance to avoid the color coming off on your dress, you run the risk of it being splotchy.

You make a very good point about the color coming off on the dress

Re: Anybody try airbrush tanning?
I've done it a few times and I even did a trial for the wedding day. The first day I couldn't do anything, shower & not even wash my hands for 8 hours after the appointment, but after that first initial shower 8 hrs later, I had no problems for 7 days going forward. I even wore a white shirt the next day to see what came off and nothing did. I was extremely pleased and it's a great option for a healthy glowing tan for your big day.
I went to Sundara in NYC.

Re: Anybody try airbrush tanning?
I just went to a wedding on Friday night. One of my girlfriends that was there had had airbrush tanning done the day before. She goes to a place in Ronkonkoma on Portion Road. She pays $25 for a girl to airbrush her (which I think is a great price). She looks great in person but I noticed in the photos I took that she looks a little orange and I would be hesitant about that for my wedding photos.
