Anybody want some help?

Anybody want some help?

I would be willing to help one or two people, who are really serious about their health (not just losing weight till the wedding then go back to gaining), and if they cook/shop the health of their husbands. I live in Brooklyn, I AM NOT a dietician or personal trainer-just someone who has become extremely aware of what a real life nutritional plan (and it's not the same for everyone) is. I would also be a walking or jogging, work out partner if need be.

I'm just a regular person who has lost and kept off 30 lbs. for almost 2 years (my weight does fluctuate within 5-8 lbs in the winter, but I never go over a size 4). I am also VERY nutritionally aware (I am vegetarian so I have to be, but I won't try to make you veg ), and I try to feed myself and my husband well.

But, I still eat chocolate, ice cream or anything else I want....

I am not trained to, and wouldn't want to, put you on a strict diet (I don't believe in dieting, I believe in changing the way you look at food and shopping anyway). I will help you make smart alternatives for yourself that will include all food groups, a balanced diet and a reasonable amount of fat and 'good' carbs.

So, if you're interested, let me know. I wouldn't charge of course, since I don't have credentials, but you'd have to work around my schedule (which is open now b/c I'm looking for work, but may not always be), and travel to Brooklyn if you want to work out, or want to meet in person.

Please let me know at [email protected] if you're interested.

If you're wondering why I'd do this:
I see so many people struggling with diets that make them slaves to food instead of making food work for them...it seems they have to go from obsessing over being over weight to obsessing over dieting. Neither way is a way to live in my opinion. I've been there, and I understand how hard it can be, especially when you're not armed with the knowledge about what's in your food or with a realistic plan that takes into consideration your likes/time/allergies/etc.

I commend you in your success. I am a personal traininer/exercise physiologist and group fitness instructor. I too am willing to help people. I like to see those who want to make a change. Perminent, not temporary.
