I am not going to be making my minimum and I am sending my invitations out soon, so if anyone would like to attend my wedding at the watermill on sunday March 26 2006 from 7-12 fm me names and address.

I would, but we might be in Vegas that weekend for FH's friend's wedding.
I don't know for sure yet, because obviously flying to Vegas a month before our own wedding might not be afforable. So if we don't go to Vegas, we can definitely make it to yours!!

Is there any way to talk the Watermill down in their minimum? Even by 10 ppl? That would at least help a little.

why can't you invite more people - like co workers, neighbors and people like that? not to say that inviting LIW people isn;t great, it is wonderful if you have the room, but since the invites have not gone out yet, can't you add people?

another way to get your numbers up is invite AND GUEST for the single people, and also invite older children (18 and up) to any couples you are inviting.

See if they'll give you extras instead of the people. So they get the same amount of money but you cn add a chocolate fountain, extra cocktails tations, etc

Well, on LIW, fellow brides will understand that they are being invited to help make your minimum. Outside of LIW, you can't really say that to people.

You should ask for extras, since you won't meet your minimum. They do this at alot of halls. I almost got married at the Watermill, I live really close

Turns out we're going to Vegas that weekend for FH's friend's wedding after all. I asked FH and now we booked our flights.

I actually didnt realize that I am inviting 120 people and with the ladies from liweddings, i will be inviting 124, so I know everyone wont be able to come and I will ask the watermill to throw in some things to make up for the dinners. Thanks everyone for the advice.
