Anybody who has already been to tahiti.

This came up in another thread and i have been thinking about this. Does it ever get a little boring in tahiti, this is what i am worried about. For some people I know it is the perfect vacation but FI and I dont like laying out all day in the sun, we dont even have patience to do it for an hour. We like to go do things. What activities are there and is there any nightlife at all? Any help is appreciated, TIA

There were plenty of excursions to choose from. We went on about 5, and also did trips on our own by renting bikes from the hotel, or taking adventerous walks.

BTW, most of the nightlife ended early, but due to the time difference you will falling asleep by about 9pm anyway.

Thank so you much ladies...Yeah i figured there were alot of daytime activities...I am just curious about the nighttime activities...At first FH will probably fall asleep early bc of the time difference and he doesn't like loooong flights lol. I am very used to 12-14 hr flights and 7 hour difference, so after the first night i would be fine...Hmmmm I do love it and wanna go, definitely have to give it alot of consideration.
