Can anyone recommend any other places to check out before we book at Westbury Manor? The important factors for us are; 50 person min, Nassau county or Queens, outdoor gardens for pictures, and a nice outdoor ceremony option.
We've already looked at: Westbury Manor Swan Club Leonard's Caffe on the Green Reception House George Washington Manor Coral House Bridgeview Yacht Club Douglaston Manor Terrace on the Park Inn at Great Neck Milleridge Inn & Carriage House Verdi's of Westbury

Chateau Briand said they do not do parties for only 50 people. The same with Jericho Terrace, Crest Hollow, & Chateau La Mer. Did any of the following places have nice outdoor gardens for pics ( not just a gazebo in the parking lot) and nice outdoor ceremony sites? SandCastle Astoria World Manor Floral Terrace Villa Barone Manor Manor East Caterers

Does anyone have any info on these halls:
Beach Club estate Watermill Sunset Harbour Irish Coffee Pub Three Village Inn The Metropolitan The Meadow Club Captain Bill's
I found these on other people's posts for wedding swith a 50 persom minimum. I know almost all are in suffolk but I guess I'd be willing to at least check them out.

I did go to Caffe on the Green. I absolutely loved it but it was a little more than I could afford to pay. Also in the outdoor ceremony area you could hear all the traffic on the highway. Otherwise, it was perfect.

I know Coral has small rooms.... but I would DEF suggest you stay away from RHs and try some restaurants instead.

Re: Anymore Recommendations for Reception Halls?
I did go to Coral House already. Did not really care for the small Lakeside room. Also for that room they have they only do a limited special event menu and the cocktail hour is in the same room as the reception. I also didn't like the indoor ceremony option, it would be in the dark bar area which also has an odd shape. The problem with restaurants is that we want to have our ceremony at our RH and we want to take all our pics there too.
I would like to take a peek at Larkfeild Manor but I noticed their minimum is 75. We only wqant a 50 person min. Maybe they'd be willing to work with me being that we are looking to do a Sat or Sun afternoon.

Hey Maureen,
I was going to say the Swan Club but then I realized you already went there. Was the minimum at the Swan Club too high? They seem have everything that you are looking for as far as gardens etc.

Re: Anymore Recommendations for Reception Halls?
We did look at Swan Club. I really liked it! The minimum was 40 people for the small afterdeck room. Fiance hated the room though. He said he woul have loved it if we could have gotten the middle room, I think it's called the Contessa. The one you sit in to do your tasting.

Sandcastle is nice but not too sure they will do a min of 50. They have a nice outdoor for pics. Floral Terrace will definitley not have a 50 min. Its the only wedding at a time. They also do not have outdoor everything is indoor. Villa Barone I hear is very nice.
