anyone...

...taking dance lessons for your first dance or thinking?? I don't even know what kind of song I should dance with FH because He's way taller than me and i feel a slow song will be kind of odd and funny looking...I was thinking more of an upbeat song but don't know of anything...I could dance and FH does too but don't know what song to choose...is taking dance lessons a waste of money?

i'm definitely thinking about it, but i would have to talk fh into it. i want to do it, so that we don't look like complete idiots out there for our first dance.

I'm about 4' taller than FH (i'm 6') so even with us looking out of proportion, we're doing the slow dance. We're dancing to Oasis Wonderwall. We are definitely going to practice, not sure about lessons though. Thought about it, but FH gave me that sideways glance so I let it be. Plan on practicing in our living room so we get all the bugs out and feel comfortable.

Once we pick a song we might just practice in the living room and see how it goes. If that doesnt go well after a few weeks or a month we will look into taking a few lessons.

i would love to but FH probably would not. my parents take dance lessons so my dad wants me to go with him and practice for the father daughter dance.

we're not gonna take classes. FH is actually the only guy I've ever slow danced with so we kinda just went with each other's flow. Now when it comes to father-daughter dance, my dad and I are definitely going to have to practice because he has two left feet and expects me to lead.

we probably will. I used to compete with Ballroom dance, but FH has 2 left feet, and we could both use a refresher lol

On second thought I am most definately taking a few lessons...
I'm not much of a dancer and I don't wanto ur song to be playing and we just kinda sway there on the dance floor boring everyone to death. Not that I want some grand routine... just something that people will go 'that was a lovely dance' at.
