ever use a travel agent? I an wondering if we should meet with some. I have never used them, I always book online.
What is the travel agents fee, is it a percentage of your total?

I have a great travel agent. FH and I use her all the time, and wherever she suggest to go I usually LOVE! We've been going to her for awhile, however, I am unsure of the fee that she charges us. She makes planning Vaca's a whole lot better though :)

I have used one. She never 'charged' us, but I am pretty sure she takes a cut of the amount that I was paying. She was able to get us some good deals though.

we used liberty travel for our cruise and we went in with prices from online so i know she didnt charge us
we are using Dawn from cruiseone...aka dawn's honeymoon specialists (vendor on here) and she is awesome. totally recommend her...and she isnt just cruises. i asked if she charges and she said travel agents get paid from the places they deal with like the airlines and hotels and what not

if you have AAA, i would recommend going to them, they got us a great deal on our vacation for august. we had gone to liberty travel, but all the lady was doing was looking at the same websites that i could have looked at from home, so she was useless. AAA actually was able to get us an upgraded hotel for the same price that liberty travel or a website would have charged.

AAA is good..so are some of the internet sites..I booked by vaca to FLA last year and got a great deal.
