Is he diabetic? If blood sugar is too low or too high this can happen. I think. I hope he feels better.

no pains or feeling sick of any sort, just major sweating. I also thought it could be diabetes, my grandfather (his dad) is also). Thanks for any help. I can't wait till Monday for him to see his doctor.

Re: Anyone a Nurse or Dr. or family one?
jenn how is he feeling now--still sweating? does he feel dizzy or weak? or still just sweating? edited to add--i just looked in one of my books warning signs and symptoms of type 1 diabetes (juvenile)--increased urination, increased hunger & thirst, unexpected weight loss, irritability, weakness and fatigue--but since he is an adult--he would fall under type II diabetes so it would be the same symptoms as type 1 and frequent infections, blurred vision, numbness in legs, feet and fingers, cuts that are slow to heal , itching......hoping he feels better

I'd have to agree that his symptoms, if that's all it seems to be, is sounding like diabetes (my mom's a nurse and my brother is a diabetic). Type 1 is juvenile diabetes, ans usually occurs in childhood. It's more likely he has type 2. I wish him well. Keep us posted.

Re: Anyone a Nurse or Dr. or have one in family?
Jenn - some insurance companies have 24hr hotlines that you can call and get advice over the phone. Doublecheck your ins company or your dads. Good Luck, hugs to daddy !
