Re: Anyone a nurse or know the answer?
CALL PHARMARCY OR YOUR DR AND ASK THEM.
ALSO TRY EMERGEN-C AND VITAMIN C

Personally, I would drink anyway....Just be Careful with HOW MUCH YOU DRINK....You can be much more sensitive to alcohol than you usually are while on meds...Your tolerance will be way lower than usual....Nobody likes a Bride with Puke on her dress!!! AND youre going to want to remember it so...I say drink...but slowly!!!

ALSO TRY A NOSE SPRAY
Only use a Saleen nasal spray - Those Instant Relief Sinus Sprays can cause some major damage!!! I have crazy allergies and my doc very strongly recommended that I NEVER use those nose sprays!!! He pretty much made me swear that I wouldnt!!! Rest rest rest!!!! Long Hot Showers will clear you up too!!

You can try this - I find this to be a Savior when having Sinus pain....You can get it at CVS, Walgrens, etc...Call to see if they have the sinus one first! Just pop it in the microwave and it's like a miracle!!

OOOHHHH i gotta get that!

make sure you go to a Dr. today- even if you have to go to a walk in place. The sooner you get your antibiotic, the sooner it will work! And ask the Dr about drinking. They will tell you not to. But say that you are going to be at your own wedding and you know you will be drinking at least a little champagne. And ask him what will happen when you do that.
I hope you feel better!!!!

Suggest it for your mom too....I got the neck one for my fiance' (whom obviously has a bad neck/back and has forever) and he LOVES it...It's a MOIST heat - makes a huge difference...I tried it on my ever-aching sinus' and it was the most fabulous treatment I've used for Sinus Pain - Especially since I am allergic to so many meds....LOL and youre not getting old from a Sinus Infection - I get them about once every two months.....***** but what are ya gonna do??? Def try it!!!

I don't think that it negates the efficacy of the drug, but I think it can make you very nauseas. I know that I once vomited a whole burrito due to a combination of Zithromax and Capt Morgan!

Re: Anyone a nurse or know the answer?
My girlfriend is a doctor and I have asked her in the past. Although they tell you not to drink when on antibiotics its not going to kill you and it wont effect your medicine. She did however tell me that it will make you nauseous. I can tell you that from personal experience I have drank while on antibiotics and it did upset my stomache. Its not the end of the world. If I were you I would probably have a drink or two lol. Just take it easy!!

Well good thing there won't be burritos at the wedding!
I would rather give up the food than the booze, then I won't have anything to throw up.
Seriously, I guess I will ask my doc tomorrow and try to take it easy. Figures I would get real sick right before my wedding. I knew I would either be sick or have a blizzard!

If you want to be real sick for your wedding then mix them. You will most likely get sick enough to throw up. The two definetely do not mix and will even say it on the label. You are better off doing without the antibiotic for that one day.
