I am adding them now. I have the appointment on Thursday for my next fitting. They are trying to order the lace from the manufacturer, if not they will match it. It is going to be made as a jacket, so that I can take it off if I want. I think I want the sleeves to be bell and maybe 3/4. I will decide on Thursday when I can see the lace with the dress. I had a lot of issues with my dress. I didn't fit so my first fitting just took the dress out. My second fitting was really my first fitting. They have been pretty good, I pretty much have a 'set' Thursday appointment. The seamstress said that it is easy to make and it will be done. I went to Paradise Bridal in Patchogue. Where are you going? I have heard that some bridal stores take a long time. I knew a girl that had to wait three weeks for her bustle to be done. The smaller bridal stores are better are doing things quicker.
I went to beautiful bride in lynbrook. The owners are sisters and they are gems, the lady that filled in for them was a friend or something and she was a nasty woman!!! I'm going to stop in one day and talk to them cause i'm nervous.
I know, I am nervous too. She actually had the exact lace, except it was off-white. She put it over my shoulder and held to show me how it looked, I liked it. The idea of the jacket is that they won't mess up the dress. If I don't like it, I will do something else. It shouldn't be too much labor to do.
Originally i was going to add a small sleeve, i went to bridal elegance (phyllis), she came up with some amazing ideas, but in the end decided to have her do a shrug for me instead.
