Anyone attending any weddings coming up?

I have coral house in Oct.
North ritz right after my wedding ( GULP)
and next year 2 at russos on the bay.

I have one on Sept. 10th at Larkfield Manor (I think thats the name of the place - I know its in East Northport) for FI's cop buddy.

And one in April at the Chateau Briand

I have my first ever shotgun wedding this weekend...thanks to rainmama who told me to suck it up and grow up!!

It should definitley be interesting...it was planned in 3 weeks!!

So far I have one in October at Jericho Terrace and one in May that I am a bridesmaid in Florida!!

I have FH's sister in Mississippi - shotgun to a guy she barely knows...don't ask!

I had a wedding last night at Jericho Terrace-I was one of the bridesmaids.....my sister got married there so I was familiar with the grounds, etc. The service was great, the entire staff was kind and extermely helpful! The waiters and bartenders were great, we never had to ask for a drink, the bartender was bringing us drinks the second he saw we were low - he even made us specialty shots which we were doing all night. We had alot of fun! But, I was disappointed with the food.....bread was hard and cold, the pasta course was over cooked, food entry was a bit on the salty side and cocktail hour was good.....my FI had the filet mignon and he said it was perfect including the fact that they cooked it exactly the way he like it. I was actually shocked because for my sister's wedding the food was amazing - I think the two factors was the difference in menu from my sister's wedding and my friend's wedding and the fact that there were two other weddings going on and there were SOOOO many people for each!!! I know my friend's alone had 200+ people......But overal, I would give it a B.

My husband and I have 7 weddings this year.
We have already been to 4 of those weddings:

One at the Crowe's nest in Montauk (that was back in June)
One at Fox Hollow which was in July
One at Chateau Briand (two weeks ago)
One at Sunset Harbor (two weeks ago)

Upcoming weddings include:
One over labor day weekend at East Wind
One at the floral Park Terrace (also in September)
and our last wedding is in December at the Fox Hollow Country Club

Needless to say, I will be relieved when 2004 is behind me because it definately was an expensive year.

we have one in october at leonards of great neck and im very excited because its going to be a very traditional chinese wedding which i have never been too so it should be very cool.

we also have one at jericho terrace in november

we've had a busy year also....
Our wedding in April

2 in June - one upstate and one in New Hampshire

3 in July - another upstate wedding, one at the Milleridge, and one at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

1 in September - at George Washington Manor

1 in October - Stewart Manor Country Club
