I will be....but dont consider myself as the step mommy....when i met FH,his son who he has full custody of was only 4 months old. I'm all FH's son knows as a mommy...He is 2 year old now...after the wedding I am adopting him!!!....he is my son....i just missed the first 4 months and the labor pains!!![]()

i think its wonderful you are adopting the little boy. Just curious - and you don't have to answer if I offend you - but what happened to the boys mother that she wasn't around when he was that small?

Your story is truly inspiring! I will be a step mom to a 15 year old girl. FH and I will fight for full custody after we're married, per lawyers recommendation. I love her and we get along great, so I feel that she will be better off with us.
I will be step mom to a 14 yr old and an 8 yr old. They're both girls and it's so cute because the oldest called me step mom for the first time the other night (over the phone cause FH doesn't have custody) and my heart just melted.
