Anyone been on a Mediterranean Cruise? Need advice.

Hi Ladies...I am going on a Med. Cruise and was wondering if it's worth going on the excursions or would I be better off just going out on my own.

We're leaving for our HM on May 13th out of Venice!! We're only 2 (Rhodes & Bari) excursions during that time. The others we're going out ourselves.

Definately pays to go on some excursions. When we went on our cruise we mixed it up, at some stops we did excursions at others we just went on land to sight see. It depends on how long you have on an island. If your there all day then you can do both.

i'm going for my HM and booked excursions at almost every stop. they know where to take you and you can always cancel the day before if you dont feel like going.
some cities def require an experienced person showing you around
