I've been on several NCL cruises. I love the food! It's delicious and abundant. The best part about it is there is always food 24/7 and you can go eat at the main restaurants pretty much anytime you want. I'd highly recommend visiting at least one of the specialty restaurants, like Cagney's Steakhouse. It was great. The drinks are good, the prices are pretty reasonable. I did find on the Epic that they watered down the drinks, but we stuck with a waiter we knew from past cruises and he always hooked us up with good drinks. HTH!

Yea, this would be for the HM....neither of us have been on a cruise before, and we found this one that leaves from NYC so we don't have to fly....have to see if it's still possible, but I'm super excited!

i've been on the NCL jewel and NCL pearl and had a great time on both. The food at the specialty restaurants is much better than the main dining room and worth the cover charge in my opinion.

the only thing i wasn't crazy about is the lack of night life. could have been due to the times i went though.

I've done this one a few times. Is this the one to Bermuda? Bermuda is gorgeous! And I love that cruise because you're there for 3 straight days so you can go ashore at night. It's a great cruise.

ITA! The nightlife was lacking when i went too...and its worth it to pay for the specialty restaurants.
I personally did not love the fact that they didnt have the usual 2 dinner seatings to pick from...but that is because i went with a large group of about 20 people and in order to accommodate us with their 'freestyle cruising' if we wanted to eat as a group (in one or two tables) we either had to eat at 5pm or at 9pm each night...they wouldnt take such large parties during 'peak' hours. but on your honeymoon you will be fine! food is good and so are the drinks!

2011er crashing... FH and I went on the Norweigan Dawn (where he proposed). It was awesome - a lot of young people which was GREAT! I didn't love the food in the main dining room and it was a little annoying that it was the same every night (other cruise lines switch it up). BUT the specialty restaurants were AMAZING! You need to be willing to spend $10 - $30 pp more, but they are totally worth it!!!!! HTH
