i went to cancun a few years ago and I stayed at the Oasis..very nice hotel...it's all inclusive.
my parents LOVE the Riveria May and so do my friends. I will find out where they stayed...i only heard good things.

I have been to cancun. We stayed and the GR club solaris and it was beautiful. When I went a few years ago it had just opened up the room were nice and i had no complaints. I went with friends for spring break and they offered tickets to the night clubs and a bus there and we wouldnt have to wait on lines. but dont get me wrong this isnt some cheesy spring break hotel its really nice heres the link.http://www.clubsolaris.com/resorts.php?hotel=1

I'm actually going to cancun for my birthday in June. I am staying at the ROYAL Cancun and getting the Swim-Up Suite that comes with a private pool. I will let you know how it went.
I have been to Los Cabos and it is GORGEOUS and romantic! I stayed at the Riu.
A friend of mine has stayed at Excellence in the Riviera Maya and she said it was the best experience ever!

I went to Cancun back in 03 and stayed at the Grand Oasis. It was really nice and we got our room upgraded because they were over booked and had an in room jacuzzi.

I went to Cancun and stayed at the Marriot Casamagna, I loved it, we were on the 6th floor with an ocean view from your balcony, it was gorgeous and the hotel was very clean and the staff was beyond great.

We went to Cancun last summer and stayed at Club Solaris, it was really nice. We even did some outings with the hotel and it was alot of fun! I love all inclusive places!!

LOVED IT!!! stayed in Cancun last summer at Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa. It was UNREAL - one of the best vacations i've been on. In 3 weeks we're going again and staying at the Riu Palace. i'll let you know how it goes!

I went to the Riveria Myia last year and stayed at the Adventura Spa Palace. Adults-only all-inclusive. I hear Excellence is great.
Cancun has changed a lot in the last year. Since the hurricane if you haven't been there it is gorgeous. Sort of like Las Vegas hotels now. Huge beautiful hotels.
If you want relaxation, laid back slower paced than go to the Myian Riveria, if you want more action, go to Cancun.
The only complaint we had about the Adventura Spa Palace is that it was not a natural beach. The pool was great, restaurants were great, great included excursions, etc. But the beach was man-made. Check it out. Excellence is a lot more expensive.
Anywhere you go in Cancun or Riveria, make sure you check the beach. Not all beaches in Cancun are the same either. Some you can go in others have too much seaweed, coral, or not too big of a beach.
