Anyone been to Bridgewaters in NYC???

I just went to see the site and thought it was pretty nice. You sure do not get a lot of food for you $$$ in the city though.

Anyone ever been to a wedding there or dealt with them. I would be using the smaller room.

Thanks!!!!

I checked out Bridgewaters, and was also considering the smaller room. It seemed to be a very nice space with good amenities and food, but there were a couple of things I didn't like...

First - I'm having a station buffet dinner and the options they offered there were so much more $$ than what I would consider the equivalent sit-down meal. They definitely push you to have the sit-down and overcharge more for the buffet.

Second - The FDR Drive! I had a problem with this as soon as I walked in the door. I think that one of the huge draws to the room is that you have an extensive outside terrace where you can have cocktails, hang out, or whatever. But the FDR is roaring by at eye level about 50 feet away, and I really was bothered by the noise factor. The guy we met with insisted that with the doors closed, it's no big deal and that lots of people have no problem with it, but I definitely did.

Because of those two concerns, I would up booking with Tribeca Rooftop over Bridgewaters, but I'm sure that you could have a wonderful event there.
