I just booked a vacation to Turks and Caicos with one of my girlfriends, we are going in March. Just curious to see if anyone here has been there before, if they did any of the sports or any other recommendations/reviews? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I did it about 4 years ago & it was fun, although a bit campy...there's the Club Med songs after dinner by the pool every night (not so bad if you're drunk, I guess) and the foam party one night. They have the trapeze school every afternoon. The week I was there though the water was rough & they couldn't do most of the water activities. Some people decided to leave as there's a casino/hotel not too far away (good to keep in mind if its dead there). fm me w/ any q's.

I went 5 or so years ago. It was fun but a very singles like place. You can do as much as you want or as little, but one thing is for sure.... it is BEAUTIFUL. Have fun

prettiest beach i ever saw was there...thats why fh and i are honeymooning in turks and caisos at parrot cay
turkoise is very singles oriented...my old nickname for it was 'turks and cox' lol
anyway its fun and i agree with cindy- its very campy - but after a few drinks dancing around the pool to a hokey pokey like song doesnt sound so silly!
i had a great time there and thefood was great dont expect luxury though

I went about 4 years ago to Club Med and had a fun time - beautiful water and water sports. Lots of singles with a few creepy married men looking to cheat on their wives.
The poster who said don't expect luxury was completely right -- no A/C in the rooms, keep an eye out for bugs and don't be surprised if you're expected to carry your own suitcase up three flights of stairs.

I went to Turks and Caicos for my honeymoon. I loved it. I want to go back so bad. I didn't stay at Club Med, I went to The Sands at Grace Bay which was wonderful.

Club Med in Turks and Caicos is a total singles party spot. I went with 6 girls a couple of years ago... It was beautiful and a lot of fun, but it's definitely a party place.

Thank you everyone for the replies! I am single, so I guess it will be a good spot for me and my friend to go and have a good time. The point of the whole trip for me is to relax on the beach, not really to hook up, but I always like meeting new friends, whether they are girls or guys. It would be cool to meet a bunch of girls to hang out with even, not just to meet men. I am not looking foward to no A/C and bugs, but hopefully I will not be spending much time in the room, I hope to be out on the beach relaxing with a drink in my hand as much as possible! That is gross that married men go there to hook up! YUK!! If I met a guy there that turned out to be married he would get a black eye so his wife would know he was up to no good! Thanks everyone for all the input, I am so excited to go!!
