Anyone been to Hawaii??

I've heard nice things about the Hilton Hawaiian Village, but it's a huge resort -- I haven't been. You do have to decide if you want 'big resort' or 'romantic and small.' There are beautiful spots in each category, but that can help you determine what Island you want to stay on . . . . I have friends with a home there, and there aren't even any cars where the house is. Honolulu, on the other hand, is completely different . . . .

I would research Hawaii itself first, because there is a wide spectrum of kinds of places to stay and the kind of trip you can have . . . .once you choose where you want to be, then you can see which hotel has received the best reviews, etc.

Or, you can 'island hop' and spend a bit of time in lots of different places!!
