I was there years ago...and I have to say it is BEAUTIFUL!!! it was one of the nicest spots that we stayed in Italy. Sorry, but I do not remember the names of any restaruants that we ate at...it was 15 years ago!!

We went for our honeymoon 2 years ago. Stayed at Villa d'Este which was unbelievable. Had a great lunch in Bellagio at a trattoria that I can't remember the name but it is at the top of the steps in the main town on the left hand side. My InLaws are actually in Como right now for 3 weeks but when they get back I will get their restaurant recommendations for you (they are big eaters !

Stayed at the Vill D'este in Lake Como!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Loved every second.

I AM STAYING THERE TOO!!!!! (Villa D'Este) but only for a few days b/c they were booked...for the rest of the time we are staying and the Grand Tremezzo...also AMAZING!!!!
