Anyone been to restaurant One if by land Two if by sea?
I want to get my parents a gift certificate to that restaurant (I called them, they do that), but on the website they had pirx menu and a tasting menu. Is there a regular menu? Which one is best for a nice romantic dinner for 2?

It's a beautiful, romantic restaurant with outstanding food. One of the best meals I've had in NY. I got my parents a gift certificate for their anniversary last year. I don't think you can wrong no matter what you choose there!

DH took me there for my birthday. They only had a prix fix. IMHO the atmosphere and service was terrific and I loved it. But the food could have been SO much better. we were very dissapointed.

The beef wellington is the best in the world.
The prices and service leave a bit to be desired...

Loved the service and the food was good but for the $$ and name it could have been better. The wine list was great and the atmosphere was a little stuffy. DH took me there last year for our anniversary.
