We're planning on going sometime in June, and I want to make sure that Jordan will have fun, he's 4 - will he be able to go on most of the rides?

Yes he will really like it. There is a lot of water things that you will have to go on also. I highly suggest to have lunch with the characters. It was amazing my daughter was going crazy. You have to book it early. If you get to the park early then you can do it there but I suggest doing it on line. Have Fun!

Our friends take their children and they love it. Their children are 4 and 1 1/2.

It's great, and there are stores around that area in case you need anything (babies r us, target, applebees, chilis, etc), try to stay locally, some of the hotels are 14 miles away and it is such a pain to go back in forth. My kids stayed for 3 hrs in the AM, and wanted to go back to the hotel in the pool, but we went back later in the day, and it felt like a lot of traveling. Enjoy, I can't wait to go next year!

We took my stepdaughter when she was 3, she had a great time! We didn't go to the water park, we stayed on the non-water side. They have lots of shows and a nice parade. The rides were more 'interactive' for her age. Slides, lots of play areas, things to climb on, etc. They have some bigger operated-rides that a 4 yr old would probably enjoy. It was crowded but I thought it was a pretty stroller-friendly place AND its not too big that a small child would feel overwhelmed. You can definately see/enjoy everything in one day without feeling rushed.
The character breakfast sounds great! I wish we would've done that.
I agree about the hotel location too. We stayed about 10-12 miles away. The hotel was nice but it would've been nice and more convenient to be a little closer.
