Anyone been to Terrace on the Park

Hi Everyone
I'm new to LIweddings, not really sure how use this yet but I've been looking at places and having a hard time finding a hall I really love. I just saw terrace on the park tonight and liked the crystal room. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks so much.

I haven't been there personally but my parents went to a wedding there a few months ago and they loved it. They said the food was great and the place was beautiful! The only complaint they had was that there was only one bar and it was kind of far away, so maybe thats something you can talk to them about to see if there's anything they can do for ya!

i actually checked them out first.

I LOVED the place. FH didn;t.

They were very reasonable too as far as prices went!!

We went to a wedding there about a year ago...it was in the room all the way at the top of the place (I don't recall the name). Our table was in the back half of the room which kind of felt cut off from everyone else and the dance floor. The outside deck (rooftop) was really nice. The food was ok, but the waitstaff wasn't that great. They actually dropped two whole trays of dinners on the floor...one all over the brides train.

I went to a wedding there. It was in the Penthouse which was beautiful. The food wasn't so good but it wasn't their normal food cause it was kosher.

But I have also been to proms (for my students) at Terrace of the Park. That food was much better. Hope that helps.

Hi Pam!! Good to meet you. I had my prom there ... Its really a nice place, although I have had better food ... They used to rotate the top of the 'T' but they don't do that anymore. Its worth checking out ... They are reasonably priced

I was just thinking about this place. I never checked it out... although the pics I have seen are pretty. About a year ago I read a review or an article about and they entitled it 'Terror on the Park'. I don't remember the details or anything but that title stuck with me and I never ended up even going to look at it. LOL!!!
It looks like a really pretty place.

i had my prom there...i dont remember the food, but the view was great! i dont remember having any complaints but that was like 10 years ago....good luck....and welcome!

Both of my cousins had their Sweet 16s there. It's beautiful, don't remember either way about the food. But def. do a search on here cause there was one bride, she was either and 07 or 06 bride that got married there and had an AWFUL experience with one of the BMs there. So if you do a search and at least find out that guys name, you'll know to ask to work with someone else. Good Luck!
