since there is no reallly great place to get dresses on SI, I have to go to Brooklyn...

Are you talking about bridesmaid dresses? Valentina is great..very friendly..Theresa's Bridal on New Dorp is good too for those dresses..and you can walk right in..

FH's BM''s DW....LoL FH's best man's wife got her bridesmaids dresses from Valentina's. She really liked them and the girls dresss were beautiful!!!

a girl i know recommended that i try valentinas - she is also from SI and she didnt like any places on the island either....
im from staten island too and i dont know where to buy my dress.....i found 'the one' at thereas but i dont really want to buy it from there....im worried about how they are with alterations.....

well i was going to get mine at NY Bridal Couture but they did what Kleinfelds did and took away the BM line and FG dresses too! I was so mad when I found out .
I thought teresa's wasnt too nice

theresa's seems a little ghetto to me and the people who work there dont seem like nice people - i have an appointment for the bridal salon in menlo since the dress i want is a demetrios. hopefully they are nice there.

I went to Theresa's with my mom a few weeks ago to look for BM dresses and I agree...they weren't too nice..not friendly at all.

I just recently went to Valentina's and loved the selection. definitely ask for DANIELLE to be your consultant. she is on her game.

yes... we ordered my best friends BM dresses there.. lost of selection... unfor the sizes are small and i was half naked.. but they were REal nice and helpful .
