I've been once and Im trying to deceide what hotel to stay at in June if we go. Any suggestions?

I LOOOOOVE Vegas!!! It is 2 much fun there!!! No sleep when I go but it's ALL worth it!!! What kind of hotel are you looking for? Maybe I can help?

i went there like three years ago in june it is hot but dry kind of hot. we stayed in Treasure island it was so fantastic.

I have been to Vegas twice. The first time I stayed at the Torpicana It was okay sort of a older hotel ( that was 7 years ago) About 4 years ago I went back and stayed at the Mirage. I loved it both times I went! I cant wait to go back

Well if we deceide to go to Vegas to get married in June(the same day we plan to get married in 2007 in church)we will only be able to stay for 4 days max because of the kids(not bringing them). We narrowed the search to Treasure Island and the Mirage although I've always wanted to stay in the Flamingo. Treasure Island is half the price as the Mirage but I want to make sure it's just as nice. When I went like 6yrs. ago I stayed at the las vegas hilton and it was nice but nothing spectacular. At this point to I can definetly be swayed to another hotel altogether. We are still looking into going to an island to get married too but so far Las Vegas is the easiest with the leaset restrictions.

I just got back from my 3rd time there. I love it! It depends what you're budget is per night. But I stayed at Ballys the last 2x, and it is very affordable, and right in the middle of the strip (where you want to be!) We also got a jacuzzi room on a Sunday for about $240. I do love the MGM, all the restaurants there are so lovely. If you like glitz, go for the Bellagio or the Venetian. Whatever you do, if you gamble, get a players card so you can get comps! I think you're better off w/the Mirage...i didn't like the flamingo that much.

The mirage is exactly twice the amount of treasure island. I guess it really doesnt matter right I want to spend most of my time at the pool or at a show. I want to squeeze in as much as possible in 4 days. I was only there once and FH has never been there. I went in Aug. the time I went and it was like 115 degrees everyday but the misters in the street helped and it being dry heat made it better.

Ah, Vegas! If I had to only visit one place the rest of my life.. it would be Vegas! There is so much to do there.. for young and old! Take advantange of anything free... no matter how crummy the venue it might be in. We went to a really cool car collection show at the Imperial Hotel ( I think thats the name) and the place was so skeevy! But the cars were really cool, and it made FH happy! Try to catch a show or two.. more than that and you might risk bankruptcy! The clubs and bars are also great in all the hotels. Being a fan of Coyote Ugly, i'd say to check that out in the New York New York. But don't stay there. The pool area is not nearly as large as it should be. I loved the rooms, but being that it is so far at the end of the strip... it's not worth the cheaper price when you are dying from heatstroke just to get up the strip to something you want to see! Friends of mine always stay at the new Treasure Island, or TI. They love it, and it's definitely convenient in location. It's also adjacent to the Mirage. It's a younger crowd, and a good time!

I got engaged in Vegas in June 04!!!. My 1st time there. We stayed at Treasure Island and OMG I loved it!! It was a really nice and pretty hotel and was right next door to Mirage. Whats cool about it also is that it's right next door to the fashion mall.
I wanna go back SOOOOO BAD!!!! I had a great time!!!

I've been there twice...I stayed at the Monte Carlo...nothing special and the MGM Grand...HUGE...I don't think I saw half of the hotel...It doesn't really matter what hotel you stay at bc you can walk through all of them (which you should def try and do bc some of them are amazing)...I recommend the Veniection...(sp) it is def my favorite and one I want to stay out if I every go back...

Thanks for the info. girls. Talked to FH about it last night and I think we are settling on Treasure Island if we go. I cant wait. Now all I have to do is convince my aunt to babysit or I'll have to send the kids to Fla. with my mom for the week which can be real expensive since we would have to fly down there with them.

anyway, we are on a budget.. i think as of now, since FI has comp $$, we are looking at staying at the excalibur... dont know much about it, sine i have never been there though...
what kinds of things did you girls do when you are there...im not much of a drinker or gambler...

They have shows, niteclubs to go to. Every hotel has something going on. Restaurants everywhere. The gambling is not a necessary part since I am not one myself. I went to Vegas and managed not to do any while there. I did a whole lot or partying instead. Its a great place, you will have a good time.

We just went to Vegas in Sept and stayed in Treasure Island, friends of ours stayed in Mirage. Treasure Island was just as nice, the only difference was the pool in Mirage was much nicer. But i would definetly recommend Treasure Island.

My girlfriends and I split a room at the Aladdin and thought it was really nice: the Spice Market Buffet there CANNOT be beat! Talk about eating (and drinking champagne with strawberries) for hours! The Venetian is beautiful too...check out the websites for the various hotels and you'll get to see what they're all about.

The one time I went I managed to spend a whopping $25 on the slots. Im not a gambler because I know except for FH I dont win anything. Im not really gonna spend too much time at the pool so if that is the only difference between the Mirage and Treasure Island I guess I'll stick with Treasure Island.

If u want a QUIET, upclass, VERy few children, and REALLY CLEAN, hotel in Vegas....
Look into the Monte Carlo, its one that isnt very busy with people in and out, bc its quiet, but its REALLY NICE, we go ALL the time....and its the ONLY hotel we go to... Look it up... its right on the strip...in the middle of all the rest of the crazy walk!!!!:)
