Do you feel it really enhanced the party? Why? I can see how a really talented live musician might make the wedding more 'classy', but did people get up and dance more because of the live musicians? Thanks.

I have been to a wedding where there was a percussionist and it was a pretty cool addition. At certain points the drummer did like a crazy solo and people did stop to watch.

Also, what was really cool, in our friend's wedding, our friend (one of the GMs) is a drummer so he got up there and started doing his thing and it was pretty awesome. I feel he actually did better than the guy that was hired, but I'm biased LOL

this doesnt really count but FHs cousin (gm) will hopefully be singing and playing the guitar for our wedding song

no, but I've heard it's a good idea to have a saxophone player even if u get a DJ

I def think the percussionist helps get the party up and dancing

I love the percussionist, will prob have one at mine...it enhances the music gives it that extra beat!!!

I also like saxophone players but i dont think they get the party up and dancing more, they just sound nice!

crashing

i had a percussionist at my wedding and was sooo happy i booked him. DH and I played our own solos, and so did my mom and FIL ... the pics are awesome

as for people dancing, everyone was dancing the entire wedding .... but i'm not sure if it was because of the percussionist or not
