I booked the reception at the not even built yet Hamlet Willow Creek Country Club in Mt. Sinai. I was wondering if anyone has done the same or has some feedback.

We're booked there for 10/9/05! I didn't think I'd ever find anyone else that was booked there b/c so many people have said they were concerned since it's not built yet. We went past it last month and it looks like they completely leveled the ground and should hopefully start building soon. We're going to go past this weekend to see how it's coming (it's become our 'thing' we've been going past the last Saturday of every month since FI lives nearby). Have you booked any vendors yet?

I actually I almost booked there for the same exact day as you. They were offering a really good deal, but I was too nervous to book some place that I had never seen. I saw an add in Newsday not too long and they showed a pic of one of the rooms and it looked really pretty. I'm almost regretting I didn't book there. The people there were so nice to deal with and I've been hearing nothing but good things about the place. Good luck with all your planning!

Thats sooooo funny!!! I almost booked for 10/09/05 too!! I ended up going with the hamlet in happauge. I wanted to have the CH in the bar room, but Barbara told me it would be too small and that the CH would be held in the lobby. But the only reason why we didnt book was that it was just too far for us. I loved everything else about it.

Wow, I'm so excited to hear that people have looked at and that you have booked the Hamlet Willow Creek. I loved it. We are getting married on 10/1/05. I will let you know how it goes. We went passed it last weekend and I backed into a tree there. SHHH. Don't tell anyone. So I think I will wait awhile before going back there. From the looks of the poor tree I am not the only one that has hit it.

I'm sorry I forgot to tell you what vendors we have. We went with Photos of the Heart for the photographer b/c we know people that have used them and we loved them when we met them. Plus they are giving Hamlet Willow Creek brides 10% off. We are using Sir Oliver Limos, and Tommys Tunes DJ. I just got a 30% coupon in the mail for Willow Creek brides for LA Productions for invitiations and stuff so I will be calling them very soon. Hope this helps. Keep me posted on your planning.

I am getting married at Hamlet Willow Creek on June 10, 2005......I am so excited to see other willow creek brides!!! We have booked our photographer (Celebration Studios in Manhattan) and our videographer (Fine Art) and that is it so far We are hoping to book a dj soon! I haven't passed the place since right before Mother's day weekend, and am hoping to see some real changes next time i see it...i can't wait until it is built!!!! Allaboutthecake is another fellow hamlet willow creek bride...i am so excited our little brood is growing!

It's supposed to be done in Feb or March of 2005 but they're only booking events from April '05 and beyond.

I can't wait to see how the place it going to look!!! Hi Junebride I just saw the pic's of your cruise and they look so nice and you look great. I just wish that we could see what the place will def. look like because it will be helpful when picking out flowers and centerpieces. I can't wait to go for the tasting!! We have to keep this thread so we can all discuss. I have only booked the church and this hall....I have so much work to do

wow I went there my mother and I both really liked alot. The pics looks so nice. however we were a little nervous to book somewhere that wasnt built yet. especially i would have had to go for early summer with the dates left and that was too close to opening date.
