Now Wedding World and Wedding Center are often confused and it is a shame. Helens in Wedding World is wonderful. My dad (who owns a limousine service) used to do business with their owner (Anthony) for years! He was in the City and then in Bayshore and now moved again to Commack. I got all my dresses from him as did my sister and there were no problems.
ETA: I believe many brides on here had bad experiences at Wedding Center.

My sister bought her wedding dress from Helen's as well. We had nothing but great experiences with them during her planning. I went back to shop for dresses for my wedding. Unfortunately they didn't carry the designer of the dress I fell in love with so I bought it at Burton's instead of using them.

I bought my wedding dress at the Wedding Center. I found them to have the best prices. I had heard bad things about alterations there, so I brought it to a private seamstress for alterations.
