My coworker is in the process of doing this right now. If you FM me the questions I can ask her, she sits right next to me at work!

Re: Anyone buy or bid on a FSBO home?
thanks for your reply. i STILL haven't heard back from the seller. i spoke w/ her tues night (just basically chatted - she was SO sweet) then left a message on wed and another on fri. not sure if i should leave another message. i know she is going through a lot right now, but i really want to see the home. it is still advertised, so i seriously doubt that there is an accepted offer.
i spoke w/ my lawyer, accountant and a few LIW girls this week and i am now confident w/ the FSBO process. i will FM you if anything else comes up.

The one advantage you have doing a FSBO with somebody that is going through a divorce is you probably have a good change of getting a decent deal.
People that are in divorce usually try to get quick settlements and are eager to sell.
Keep calling if you have to. Doesn't hurt.

Re: Anyone buy or bid on a FSBO home?
i left 3 message this past week and STILL haven't heard back. home is still being advertised.
IMO - i have done all that i can. the ball is on her court now. i have resigned to the fact that it is time to move on BUT it still annoys me that she hasn't called me back. as mentioned, we had a really nice chat last week. whether the home is available or not, you would think she could at least give me a quick call and let me know the status.
seriosuly, if you are going to advertise your home, you should make yourself somewhat available to answer/return calls.
