Re: anyone buy their dress at paradise bridal?
I bought my dress there..
I know that some people have had mixed experiences - I think it really needs to come down to whether you click with the salesperson. My first visit to them - I hated it and part of that was my own mood. They have a really good selection of dresses but no pics unless you're buying.
The second visit I was in a much better mood and much more forthright with what I was looking for and what I wasn't. The visit was with the same person, and it was fine. I took my mom on the 3rd visit to see the dress and we ended up ordering.
Ask for Paulina - she was great. I can't tell you much about the rest of them, but be firm and speak up.
Bridal Suite of Bayshore and the Bridal Suite of Centereach were friendlier (probably the friendliest of all the shops I visited) but Paradise had the dress.
It's a personal trip so see if it works for you... if not there are a million other stores to check out.

I havent't bought anything yet but that was the first place I went dress shopping, I liked the lady I dealt weath, Patti, she was a doll. AND she DID let me take pictures of any dress BEFORE I put down a penny!
But I too have heard mixed things about them, and their seamstresses.

I bought my dress there. They let me take lots of pics when I was trying on, even though they said techinically I wasn't allowed to. I worked with Paulina, she was wonderful. I didn't get alterations done there, though.
