I have a winter wedding, I'm wondering if I should get some insurance in case there's a blizzard or something crazy.

Re: anyone buy wedding insurance?
I am not buying it...My wedding is on the smaller side 75-85 ppl....and in Oct.. I would consider it if 1. the cost of the insurance wasn't crazy expensive 2. Make sure blizzard/storm is covered...Sometimes it isn't... check the policy. 3. if you are having a large wedding and you are spending alot anyway, another expense if reasonable will be fine. I know last year I was flying out to florida on the day of the blizzard in mid-dec so they do occur...

Re: anyone buy wedding insurance?
i was considering it too but decided against it.
it was not really very expensive ... i was looking on WedSafe.com
they give you a price quote right on their site
ultimately, i decided against it but i honestly can't remember why ... i know i had posted a question about it in the past, if you search for it, you might find my reasons

Re: anyone buy wedding insurance?
I think my dad may have gotten it. I believe he did for my sisters' weddings.
I'll have to ask him now, because if he didn't, i may consider it!

Re: anyone buy wedding insurance?
My parent's bought insurance because we booked almost 2 years ahead of time, and due to the economy my Dad's concern was that something would happen to the venue or any of the vendors we book with. I think it is a good idea if you have the concern of bad weather.
