Anyone camp?

My husband and I have been living in NY for a year or so, and we used to camping up in NH when we lived in Boston, but NH seems so far away now. Can anyone suggest somewhere to go rather than all the way up north?

We used to camp up by huntermountain this year we went to phonecia (sp?) NY.. it was state owned, but there was water tubing...

I go to Copake Falls. It is a few hour drive from LI - Not too bad. It's right on the border of NY and MA.
