FI and I were going to go to sweden and norway for HM but, after not saving enough money its not going to happen. I have seriously named like 20 different ideas and he has a answer for why he doesn't want to go to them. No Islands, no europe, no russia, no south america, no africa, no thailand, no yellowstone, we seriously cannot agree on one place and if it keeps going this way I am not going to have a honeymoon because we keep fighting.... any suggestions?

well what does he want and what do you want??? any way to strike balance b/w 2? like if he wants warm and realxing and you wanted a cruise anywhere then cruise to caribbean?

Greece is supposed to be beautiful in September!! Also, Napa Valley in California is very romantic. It is filled of wine vineyards and restaurants....like a little Italy!
I am always a fan of Ireland, but then again....I'm a little biased!!!

it sounds like he should list places he would like for you to decide.... instead of guessing, you 2 should sit down and travel the globe (via the internet of course) for places you both agree on and then research from that list to find whats perfect for you

it might be easier if he gives you a list of places HE would like to visit, and then you see if any of those match something you'd like.
sometimes it's easy to dismiss possible travel spots, but then once you read up on them, you realize that it could actually be tons of fun. so maybe you should just go to the library, grab a bunch of travel books and start going through them together

There is a lot to be discovered nearby, I think Old Montreal and Quebec is simple and romantic and CHEAP!
If you haven't been there, its like a quckie trip to France.
Old Montreal is a little taste of Paris, and Quebec city is like a little taste of Provence. Best in Summer, but if you go right in between seasons its so really cheap

There is so much to see and do in New England year round. The coast of Maine is beautiful, and all states have tourism guides online

We did Costa Rica. There is a nice mix of rain forest and beach or you can travel to see volcanos and hot springs. There's so much to do there and it's beautiful. I highly recommend it.

WOW seems like he pretty much ruled out most places lol. How about australia? one continent he didnt say no to so far hahaha. Other than that seems like only other choice really is the US. I know he said no islands but maybe he meant the carribean so how about hawaii? other than that he said no to europe, asia, south america and islands
i would just ask him to list places that he would like to go to and then work from that list

How about Argentina? Buenos Aires is considered the Paris of South America. Hotels should be cheap, the dollar can get you a lot there and the weather will be great since you're getting married in September (the beginning of summer over there.)

ya rather than having him say where he wont go, have his say where he will go. Do you think he is just bummed about not being able to go to Norway and Sweden? Maybe he is being stubborn?

After a whole day of fighting...We just agreed to go to the Canadian Rockies. I mean its no scandianiva but, that is life I guess. He has a medical condition so we cannot go anywhere with alot of heat....

I don't know why all the bad Canadian stigma in the US, Canada is really a beautiful country, I mean people from the rest of the 1st world countries are happy to vacation there!
