anyone car saavy up?? im having a huge problem with my 98 taurus
my car alarm keeps going off i dontknnow how to disarm it - its not the horn, i keep going thru the manual nothing - anyone help?!!

i worked at a dealership for a couple of years and my dads been a machanic (sp?) for 40 years.. maybe i can help!
When does the alarm go off and is it the normal alarm when you use the remote or does it sound different?

this happened to me once, i reached under the steering wheel and pulled the wires that i happened to know were for the alarm
do i recommend this if you don't know which are for the alarm? probably not haha

sounds like an electrical problem....maybe wires rubbing or something like that. shouldnt be an expensive fix

I think its aftermarket - lights flash and theres a high pitched noise, but not my car horn!!!
Some old hag neighbor wrote me a mean letter!!!!!!!!!
