I will probably change only because our first dance will be a vienese waltz which is pretty fast and you get really dizzy, and I don't wanna think of what might happen if I wear heels.

I'm probably going to wear strappy sandals the whole time. That way, I'll always be comfy, and if the tips poke out from under my dress, it'll still look pretty.
Just a word of advice - remember your dress will be fitted in whatever shoes you choose - if you choose to be fitted in your heels, when you change into flats you'll be stepping & tripping on your dress all night because it will be too long. Just something to consider

I bought white platform flipflops the same height as the heels I wore during the day and changed into them after the first dance.

Re: anyone changing her shoes for the reception?
No way...I loved my shoes way too much to not wear them all day...plus they weren't cheap so I was getting my money's worth out of them if it killed me...I'm used to wearing heels/strappy sandals though so they actually didn't bother me one bit

This is exactly what I'm worried about. I guess I'll have to keep my heels on all night.

I changed into flip flops that had a thick sole. They were pretty much the same height as my fancy shoes - so i was comfortable and not tripping over my dress at all

I am going to change. I'll probably wear low heels for the church and then change into more comfy ones for the reception.

I think I will be wearing ballet flats all day (ceremony and reception). If not, It will be a low heel and I will most likely change for the reception. I am worried about tripping over my dress though.

I might fall in flip flops so I'm probably going to get crazy platform sneakers ( I hear they're out there somewhere)
