I am planning on doing this. My dad passed away so my mom is walknig me down the aisle and I plan on dancing with her at the reception

I am considering it also- my mom says she already picked a song to dance too! She is also walking me down the aisle because my dad passed.

I am going to! The way I feel is that I do not have a brother so my mom won't get to do a mother/son dance ever and she only has me so def going to dance with my mom as well as a father/daughter dance!
My MOH also did this at her wedding! Go for it!

I am not. My mom insisted i danced with her at my Sweet 16 and it was soo akward! Idk I guess most ppl don't expect it because its not the normal father daughter dance.

i plan on doing it. Although I'm having both my parents walk me down the aisle, I feel like my mom has really been the most important person in my life and she deserves to be the one I dance with on my big day.
I think I might dance to Mama from Boys to Men...always makes me cry!
