Anyone decide on a honeymoon yet?

We're doing an 8 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean departing from San Juan. We will go to Aruba, Curacao, St Maarten, and St Thomas. We booked through Dawn of Cruise One (a vendor here). She is great.

Once we arrive back at San Juan we will be staying 5 nights at the El Conquistador resort in Fajardo Puerto Rico.

I can't wait.

I was pushing for Zanzibar/Tanzania, but FH doesn't think it is honeymoony enough. I think we'll end up either All-Inclusive in Carribbean/Mexico or Maui/Lanai

We'll see - so many choices!

Yes, that is what I was looking at too. I found a package, where the first few days your on the beach in a hut ALONE...then you start doing the game drives etc... We figure that we will have kids pretty much right away, and won't have a chance for our dream vacation again, so...nows the time. Best of luck to you, and your vacation, it will be spectacular I am sure!

We already booked it, and the airfare too! We are staying in a 2-story villa in St. Lucia (Sandals).

That is the exact one we were going to go on!

No haven't decided yet its between the carribean or Costa Rica or even Brazil....I'm torn. I really want Hawaii but its tooooo expensive

No not yet.. FH and I were chatting about it yesterday, and I told him that 'typically' it was the grooms job to plan it.. so now he's excited... I don't really care where, as long as there is a beach and drinks! Oh, and FH too... hehe.

That sounds fabulous!! I'm so jealous How long are you planning to go for? FH and I plan to wait a bunch of years before having kids, but I still worry we might miss our chance if we don't go now! I think the problem is that Zanzibar/Tanzania is my dream vacation, but definitely not FHs

Yup dreams have to match, thankfully ours do. The only thing that may stop us, is my FH has some health issues, but we will try to work that out. I hope to go for 13 days..you waste 2 flying, and need at least one rest day. My brother went a couple years ago, and said there is no trip like it. There was one night he had to wait to get into his lodge because two lions were fighting outside. OK so I am a little scared, but just can't wait!!!!

Our other option was New Zealand or Australia..may-be your FH would like that better, and you will still get to see some crazy cool stuff?

That is so funny so said that cause that was what I was considering after FH vetoed Africa - since I have a crazy obsession with seeing a kiwibird before I die (plus all the other cool New Zealand sites). Unfortunately, it is a little colder than FH and I want in July, since it is winter there

If you do go to Zanzibar/Tanzania, please post a review! Hopefully it will be fabulous and I can use it to persuade FH to go to Zanzibar in the near future.

I am between going to Sandals in St. Lucia, The Reefs in Bermuda, or the Hyatt in Aruba.

Wow.. what a selection!!!! All 3 places sound great. I have personally been to Bermuda, and all I can say is that the island is BY FAR the most beautiful I've seen, and trust me, I have been quite a few carribbean islands. Im going to Sandals St. Lucia. Lots of luck!
Whatever you choose out of the three, you will be happy.

If you want relaxation, go to Hawaii
If you love to sightsee, def go to Europe.
