Anyone do a Carnival Cruise for their HM?

If you did, did you tell them it was your honeymoon when you booked? did you get any kind of special treatment, little extras,etc? Did they upgrade you in any way?

I booked mine awhile ago and thought I told them at the time that it was for our honeymoon. But looking at the 'special occasion' section of the reservation, its blank I was planning on calling them back and telling them to put 'honeymoon' down for special occassion....but unless we get some kind of upgrades or freebees, its kind of pointless, right?

We booked our HM for Carnival Cruise about a month ago the travel agent put down HM. Call them back and let them know that it's your HM. As long as they know that it's your HM they will give you a bottle of Champane in your room. As for upgrading you or freebeis if you get them or not, it's not pointless. I hope that this helps you out.

I just called Carnival and they said that they dont do any thing for honeymooners anymore -- no champagne, no nothing She wouldnt even put a little note on my reservation of it

Oh well....

Really that stinks I was thinking of doing that

I heard very poor things about carnival.. My dad had a horrible time on one trip with them and so did one of my BFs..
I would stick wtih Royal Carribean or Celebrity.. trust me.Plus they do things for your honeymoon...

Actually, none of the major cruise lines (Carnival, RC, Princess, NCL) do anything for honeymoons. They just have way way too many people who are honeymooners. Even on Celebrity you have to pay for their package.

I'm going on a carnival cruise too. I;ve been on 3 before and loved them. Its more relaxed then the other lines.
