I also have 12 tables and a small bridal party. I'm planning on spending $1000. I'm going to go to a local florist in Queens, since they're familiar with my church.

Good luck!

It depends on the kind of flowers that you want to use. There are cheaper flowers like daisys, and not calla lillies that can definitely bring the cost down. If you use more candles too you can definitely do it for less than $1k.

I did, but I only had 2 bouquets, 2 corsages, 5 bouts., 2 pew bows and small things for the reception to buy. I did the C-pieces (candle with silk fall leaves and pine cones) myself. I also went to a local florist who I knew did the church. Many people locally use them and the florist was great in suggesting things that would keep my prices low. Try someone locally- I think some of the bigger wedding florists try to sell you package deals, where the smaller ones might be more willing to cater specifically to what you want to spend.

I did but I didn't have any centerpieces (they were included with the hall.) I used Flowers by Maxine in Port Jeff

You should try Simply Stems in Huntington. They are so nice and will work within your budget.

Good Luck

Check out Carmine from Flowers By Emil . He is so wonderful to work with and works with any budget. I paid alot less than $1000 for my flowers. I had boo-ks, corsages, boutinerres, altar piece and pew bows. Had centerpieces and flowers for cake through the hall.
